Experience
As a longtime writer and domestic and international traveler, Kaley has countless travel journals documenting her experiences and lessons learned while away from home. She found her footing as a writer in college while working as a reporter and editor for the independent newspaper The Red & Black. From there, she's let her curiosity lead the way, which has turned into her writing about crime, science, music, trends, and travel for companies including iHeartRadio, Georgia Public Broadcasting, BioSpace, and now, Static Media. Kaley has a passion for getting the facts straight and making travel as accessible as possible, regardless of gender or finances.
Education
Kaley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia with an emphasis on investigative journalism. She also earned an Associate's Degree in Journalism from Georgia State University. She minored in English and French while in college, which has helped her solidify her love for literature and has aided her in communicating with locals while traveling overseas.
